Occasionally, we run across student films that need a little extra help finding the right locations.  ddA often helps with assist them with location selection and walking through the film permit process…something they don’t often teach in film school!

Pixel-Deep

Welcome to David Barker (photographer) and Chris Lamb from Pixel-Deep Imaging and Advertising in Taipei, Taiwan.  Shooting promo  for K-Swiss shoes and fashion, Pixel-Deep has relied on ddA to produce their location shoot in Big Bear.  Filming in the city, county, shoreline and private locations, Pixel-Deep says they are excited to shoot in such a beautiful community.  Of course, we know how beautiful the fall colors are in Big Bear right now, but it is always nice to see it through someone else’s eyes and lens.

Inland Empire Film Commission

Once again, Dan Taylor came through at the IEFC to assist Alex Apple with permitting Lucerne Dry Lake. Alex put Dan on alert on Monday that weather reports said that they may get rained out in Las Vegas.  Dan worked tirelessly into Friday evening to make sure everything went smoothly for the project.  Dan and Sheri rock!
